it was clean, modern and had everything we needed. staff were super lovely and helped us whenever we asked. the location is also great, close to cardiff bay and city center which was really handy.

the bed wasn’t great, you kinda roll to the middle when you sleep. also, the car park was a bit pricey for my liking.

I had an amazing stay with a lovely breakfast included, and it was great being just over a kilometer from Mermaid Quay and Cardiff Bay, perfect for an afternoon stroll by the water.

Great location near the bay but a lot of uphill walking to get there.

the breakfast was amazin and exceeded our expectations. the location by the river is beautifull, especially at night. the room was clean and tidy and the staff were super friendly. they let us park early so we had time to go see cardiff castle. overall a lovely stay for our fam!

Super friendly staff. The room had everything, flat-screen TV, a shower, tea/coffee maker, and heating. Clean and spacious with nice decor. Breakfast offered hot options like scrambled eggs and sausages. Tons of juice choices. A quick walk to the Bay and city center made it easy to explore. Parking available for £6 a night.

Had a blast discovering local spots like Zaika Asian Cuisine and Chicken House for some killer eats! Breakfast was alright too, just enough to kickstart the day. Staff were sound, making our stay fun overall.

I found the atmosphere at Holiday Inn Express Cardiff Bay to be very welcoming, with comfortable common areas and easy accessibility for seniors. The staff were attentive, ensuring I felt at home during my stay.

i've stayed at holiday inns before, but this one really stood out. the staff was super friendly and the location near the waterfront was perfect for our city holiday. our room was spacious and clean, providing a nice retreat after our days out.

the lift was out of order.

The room was clean and spacious, which was a nice surprise. I liked having a choice between soft and firm pillows. it could get a bit noisy at night, especially with the doors banging. it felt modern and well-furnished, but a bit of peace would have made it better.

Comfy stay but food needs work

Had a decent stay for 3 nights in a Standard Room. The breakfast was nice, but the hot food was lukewarm and the bacon looked undercooked. Our accessible room was fine, but the shower lacked a seat and flooded, which was a hassle. The bar area was cool, tho! Just missing some proper service, tbh.
